Use this test to measure how a child’s eyes line up. Few people have perfect eye alignment and a slight misalignment is normal as eye muscles can compensate if the amount is small. This test checks to see if the amount of miss-alignment is within acceptable limits. Hold the red rod over an eye and see if the red line is "On the Bus". 
Designed specifically for acuity measurement in children ages 6 months to 3 years. The test may also be helpful in other age groups for people with intellectual impairment, dementia, head injury, or stroke. 
The test measures a child's ability to detect the presence of parallel lines of decreasing width to provide information about the function of some parts of visual pathways.
Use this screening tool with young children who are not developmentally ready for the LEA Symbol Tests. Present a pair of cards to the child who has to distinguish a cereal picture from square picture card. There are 6 pairs of pictures that have been rated for size and distance related to typical vision development. Responses do not have to be verbal and can estimate visual acuity. 
This red and white striped fabric flag is used to produce optokinetic nystagmus (OKN) physiologic jerk in a child's eyes. This can be observed when the child attempts to fixate on contrasting rectangles as the flag moves within the child's field of vision. Comes with instructions. 37" long.
